Background

A humble beginning saw the birth of Steelmakers, the name synonymous with quality steel manufacturing.

The company made a start with ship breaking to generate scrap. The ship breaking industry then further gave birth to the steel melting industry and then to rolling industry, followed by various other divisions.

With over two decades of partnering life and engendering hope, we are one of the Kenya’s generic steel companies. We believe that access to quality steel is our right not our privilege. We focus on to achieve complete customer satisfaction both in the products we offer and in the services that follows.
